The Granum Fire Academy provides an opportunity for Grade 10, 11, & 12 students can earn high school credits while learning & developing skills that transfer to careers such as nurse, emergency medical technician, paramedic, or firefighter.
Emergency Medical First Aid Training
- Offered once each semester
- Minimum 4 high school credits
- First Aid certification
- Preparation for college-level EMT course
Firefighter
- Full-year course
- Minimum 8 high school credits
- Level 1 Firefighter certification
- Includes live fire training
Program Details
- Location: Granum School, Granum Firehall, and the future M.D. of Willow Creek training facility
- Time: 2:00-5:00pm on Fridays + training hours
- Cost: $100 per course for a total of $200 (includes certification, testing, GFA shirts, bunker gear)
- Limited to 12 students per course
